Electromagnetic and Dynamic Performance Analysis of a Two-Phase Permanent-Magnet Tubular Linear Actuator

This work presents an electromagnetic and dynamic performance analysis of a two-phase permanent-magnet tubular linear actuator (PM-TLA) prototype; an electromagnetic finite-element model is proposed and dynamic performance of the system drive, composed of PM-TLA prototype and associated power electronic devices in a control loop, is analyzed using simulation software tools.
